The bridge was completed on 08-27-04 and we are now opened back up for visitors from all directions. Come back to town for a visit soon.
Here's a couple more photos to give everyone an idea of how the construction is coming along with the new bridge at the river park in Goldfield. Alan tells me they have it almost complete except for the walking bridge along the side. Not sure where the aerial photo came from but it gives you a good look at the entire span of the new bridge.

Happy
Father's day alumni! I got a chance to play in a golf tournament today
with 3 of my fellow class of 1984 alumni. Pictured from left to right
below are: Tom Frakes, John Sorensen, Brett Trotter, and Larry Brott.
We didn't win but it was great to see some of my classmates. The picture
below represents almost 1/3 of our graduating class!
The
Class of 1964 held their 40th year reunion this past weekend in Goldfield.
They had all but one graduate in attendance. It was a very fun filled
weekend.
If
you compare these photos Alan just sent me to the ones in the last news
update, you'll see we've been getting more than our fair share of rain
here in Iowa....
Be sure to visit the Bulletin Board link and leave your classmates a message. Give it a try!! We continue to be hard at work gathering information on all the alumni who Attended GHS and have a secure area of this site which is dedicated to holding names and addresses of all your classmates to make it more convenient for you to get in touch with them.
